At Swim & Play, we have taken swimming lessons in Mount Juliet TN a step further. Importantly, our private and small group lessons for kids teach and encourage independence and confidence.
We will match your child to one of our instructors based on your child’s personality and comfort level in the water. Striking an essential balance between playfulness and practice, your child’s instructor will guide them through new experiences, helping to create a confidence that will stay with your child both in and out of the water.
Swim & Play emphasizes gentle and patient encouragement, allowing children to progress at their level of readiness through individualized and small group lessons. Moreover, our instructors meet your child at exactly his or her comfort level. With personalized attention and focus, even reluctant children will enjoy significant progress as the learning process unfolds naturally.

Did you Know?
Swimming uses every muscle in the body and is one of the best forms of exercise for both children and adults. Even babies benefit significantly from swim lessons! Swimming lessons enhance your infant’s circulation system and lung capacity. Interestingly, a study conducted by researchers at Griffith University in Australia found that children who had been in swim lessons early are typically about seven months ahead on motor skill development than children who had not been swimming. Motor skills include tasks in which the muscles, nervous system, and brain work together. Such skills include running, jumping, throwing a ball, climbing stairs, and using a pencil.
